Trauma-Informed Therapy
Trauma-Informed Therapy
After trauma, the body needs to find a way to cope and relax, and it does so by seeking out high-dopamine behaviours, sometimes to avoid facing the awful realities that have occurred.
In trauma-informed therapy, we focus on relaxing the body and processing the traumatic events together in a safe therapeutic environment. We’ll address symptoms first to help relax the body and mind, and then dig deeper.

Couples Therapy
Couples therapy focuses on building intimacy, improving conflict resolution, and bullet-proofing for longevity. We can also do pre-marital counselling together.
I’m trained in the Gottman Method and also make intentional use of Emotionally Focused Therapy. We’ll use science-backed tools practised in-session to assess and improve your relationship, from communication to building shared meaning.
